How many of you remember this famous moment when Jonathon realised he's been had by Noel Edmunds and his 'Gotcha' team?
| OK then, for those of you who don't have a clue what a 'Gotcha' is, here's a brief explanation. Noel Edmunds had a weekly show and each week part of it was dedicated to 'setting up' famous people (a different one each week). They would end up in some crazy situation, make total fools of themselves and in the end Noel would reveal himself and give them the 'Gotcha' award | |
| It started off where Jonathon is sharing a taxi with a lady who was going into hospital to have a baby. The taxi driver pulled up at this house in the middle of nowhere and disappeared. After a while she started to go into labour and panic. |

Jonathon went running around the house grounds to find the taxi driver but he was long gone. Note, there were several beeps to hide his language!! |
| He even went up to the house, shouting and hammering on the door! Nobody answered his calls. |

By this time the poor lady is starting to panic and asks if he could drive the taxi to the hospital for her. Jonathon gets in the drivers seat and tries to decide how to turn the darn thing on. The driver actually left the keys in the ignition. |
| Now this is a rugged country lane and the pair bounce around as he puts his foot down to get her to the hospital. |

At the bottom of the lane there are Police and a road block has been set up. He asks if it's possible to drive through as it's an emergency but the Policeman won't let him and tells him he will have to wait as nothing is being allowed through. |

Noel is actually stood there all the time in the yellow jacket and bikers helmet. If Jonathon had been thinking straight he would have noticed this guy could not have been a Policeman as he is way too short but in panic he doesn't even notice. Noel is even putting on this pathetic Scottish accent and speaking to Jonathon. |

The lady is still in the back of the taxi and decides to take her case and walk off up the other road. By this time the taxi has been reported stolen and the Policeman starts to question Jonathon. |
| He sees the lady walking off and goes to follow her. The Policeman tried to stop him but Jonathon pushes past him and runs after the lady. He persuades her to come back and is told there is another car coming for her to which he replies "Oh, so you have been listening then". |

Jonathon is now in such a state and about to explode. Noel then takes off the helmet and eventually Jonathon spots him. The look of relief on his face is a classic. |

So there you have it - that's what a 'Gotcha' is all about. The photos are not that clever as they are taken from the video but at least they give you a clearer picture of what went on. |
