The two captures above were from 'I'm dreaming of a TV Christmas - shown on BB2 on Christmas Eve 2003. Jonathon literally said a couple of lines about the making of Bread and the fact they transported them out to Italy for a Special.

On the left is a capture from 'That was the week we watched'. Jonathon talked about his part in the BBC Series 'Beau Geste' and how he initially got the part by speaking ever so posh!! He went on to say how he had a few drinks one night and started to ramble on his normal northern accent after he had told them at the interviews he was educated at Eton!! Nice one Jon! One question for the BBC would certainly have to be - what exactly is wrong with a northern accent then? OK so we may not speak like we're sucking a marble but we have just as much talent as the south...........if not more!!
