Here's where things get complicated. During the course of my writings I found the story changing into a crossover. Since I hadn't intended it to be a crossover at the beginning and foolishly allowed it to be posted on the web before it was finished, I felt it necessary to write two endings. Therefore those of you familiar with The Professionals may click on the crossover link and those of you not familiar with that series may click on the alternative link. Of course even if you're not familiar with the series you may like to read the crossover anyway, as it is the longer ending; I leave the choice up to you.
