A beacon of light

Shinning so bright

In the darkness

Of my world

In the darkness

Of my mind

A kind word

A helping hand

Someone who cares

Someone who’re there

A star

Just like a star

You shine so brightly

You burn so strongly

You are filled with love

You are filled with passion

Like a leaf dancing

In the autumn wind

Nothing is as beautiful

Nothing is as dear

As the sweetness

As the kindness

You have shown me

You are like a star

You outshine all the others

You guide my way

You are the Evening Star

Words seem so poor

Thanks is not enough

To cover all I feel

To say what I mean

A star so beautiful

A soul so light

An angel walks

Among us

Sometimes stars fall

Sometimes they cry

Tears of silver

Falling like rain

If I can

If I may

I will catch you

I will soften your fall

If I can

If I may

I will always be there

I will put my hands together

And catch you

You’re my light

You’re my friend

You’re my star

You’re my angel

Evening Star…

You guide me home

You guide me true

Evening Star….

Thank you for letting me

Bathe in your light

Thank you for letting me

Enter your world
