UXM 136: Scott proposes to Jean. She says yes.

UXM 137: Jean seemly dies on the moon, leaving Scott and ending the Phoenix Saga.

UXM 138: Jean is buried and Scott leaves the team.

UXM 141 -142: The "Days Of Future Past" Saga. Rachel Summers is introduced as the future child of Scott and Jean from a possible future. In that future she is married to Franklin Richards, the son of Sue and Reed Richards ( of the Fantastic Four) and they have a child; Jonathan Reed Richards.

UXM 144: Scott returns ( finally) and we are introduced to Lee, a woman whom Scott gets a close relationship with.

UXM 150: Scott return to the team.

UXM 154: Corsair is revealed to be Christopher Summers, Scott and Alex's father.

UXM 158: Madelyne Pryor is introduced, looking exactly like Jean Grey.

UXM 174: Scott proposes to Madelyne who says yes.

UXM 175: Scott and Madelyne are married; making this the shortest romance in Marvel history who almost never let people marry and if they do chances are one of them ends up dead or the marriage turns out to never have happened. ( think Scarlet Witch, the daughter of Magneto, and Vision)

UXM 184: Rachel Summers, Scott's daughter from a possible future with Jean Grey, comes to the present.

UXM 200: Nathan Summers, later to be known as Cable, is born by Madelyne Pryor, Scott's first wife.

UXM 201: Scott and Storm fight over the leadership of the X-men. Madelyne interferes and makes Scott lose. He then leaves the team.

UXM 294. Jean and Scott are kidnapped by Stryfe, starting the "X-Cutioner`s Song" Saga. Till its end it is believed that Cable is the clone and Stryfe Scott's child.

UXM: 308: Jean proposes to Scott. He accepts.

UXM 375: Logan is believed dead and a family fight in the extreme breaks out in the X-mansion. The team splits in two. Jean, Nate Grey, Gambit, Rogue, Sarah and Scott have had enough of Xavier while Storm, Kitty, Peter, Kurt and Cable stays with Xavier. Xavier tries to kill Jean so Scott tries to shot him but due to Kitty phasing him, he hits Ororo instead, killing her. Xavier then kills Scott. Cable proceeds to kill Jean as Xavier says she is Dark Phoenix. Marrow tries to kill Cable but he kills her and after that he injures Rogue, killing himself in the process. Nate Grey kills Kurt and Peter kills Nate Grey. This leaves only Gambit and Kitty alive as Peter dies in Kitty's arms and Rogue dies in Gambit's.
This being Marvel it turned out that they never really died. ( What a surprise.) However the emotions expressed here are very interesting.

UXM 391: Scott's first appearance after his resurrection after he was believed dead during The Twelve Saga. Scott is taking a weekend to get his head straight before returning to the X-Men. He arranges to go camping with his father, you know do the whole family thing. Well, it turns out Christopher Summers knows very little about his son (forgets that he is color blind because of the glasses, thinks that his beams produce heat and can therefore light a campfire, etc). So, they fight, and cry, and Christoper is about to leave when Scott asks him why he never came back to see if him and Alex were okay. He says that Jean and him never talk about having kids anymore because he is so afraid of being the same kind of father to his son. So, Corsair tells him that he was afraid to come back, he thought that he had already failed him and would only screw them up more if he came back for them. So he tried to save the universe as a way of proving he wasn´t that bad. So they make up and it turns out that the night before the plane crashed when they were younger, they family had gone camping. Scott and his dad had stayed up all night talking and Scott fell asleep in his arms. Which he does at the end of the comic again. Which was really really sweet. ( Info provided by Shannon )

AVENGERS

Avengers 263: Jean Grey is discovered in a cocoon on the bottom of the ocean.

FANTASTIC FOUR

Fantastic Four 263: Jean Grey comes back to life. It wasn't her who died on the moon. In fact she was never Phoenix.

X-FACTOR

X-factor 1: Scott meets Jean again and they form X-factor with Hank, Bobby and Angel, reuniting the Original Five as Scott leaves his wife, Madelyne, and his son, Nathan Summers, to be with Jean and fight evil. ( and make yet another X-men comic series so Marvel can make some more money)

Age Of Apocalypse (AOA): Tells of what the world ( that being the Marvel world, people) would be like without Xavier. And boy does it look grim. Among the changes in here is the fact that Logan and Jean are together and Magneto is the leader of the X-men and he's married to Rogue with whom he has a son, Charles. Further more Scott isn't exactly on the side of the Angels here...

FACTOR X

Factor X 1-4: We see Scott as he is in this timeline, considerable more "evil" than in the normal Marvel Universe as he works for the bad side and Mr. Sinister. However it is revealed that he has been helping prisoners escape after he met Jean Grey who is romantically involved with Weapon X, Wolverine.
X-men Omega: Alex Summers kills Jean Grey and then his brother, Scott. Alex is then killed by Logan.
It is in this timeline that Nate Grey is made by Mr. Sinister. He is a test tube child, made from Scott Summers and Jean Grey's DNA. He is basically a younger Cable but without the Legacy Virus which makes him much stronger than Cable. Nate Grey, of cause, couldn't stay in his own timeline. He came to this one and is now called X-man and fights the good fight.

X-MEN SERIES 2

X-men 1: Scott and Jean return to the team.

X-men 23: Sinister makes the mistake of a lifetime and makes me a very happy writer. Sinister says to Scott: " But I care enough to want you and your brothers to be protected from this illness,". Brothers, people! More than one. Hum, Gambit does remind one a little of Scott, does he not? A orphan, red on black eyes and he could channel his powers through his eyes when he was first introduced..Could be my imagination running into overdrive here but you got to admit...it could be fun! Could even be that he had more than one unknown brother..and if he can have a unknown brother...How about a sister? There are too few female Summers's in this universe!

X-men 30: Jean and Scott are finally married.

X-men 35: Scott and Jean return from the future after having spent 12 years raising Scott's son, Cable.

X-men 96-97: Scott sacrifices himself to save the world and his son, Nate Grey. He becomes one with Apocalypse. He is believed dead. This ends the Twelve Saga ( UXM 376-377 and XM 96-97).
The Twelve were: Scott Summers, Jean Grey-Summers, Cable, Storm, Xavier, Iceman, Magneto, the Living Monolith, Polaris, Bishop, Sunfire, and Mikhail Rasputin ( Peter's brother). Nate Grey is the thirteen member of the Twelve so to speak.

CABLE

THE SEARCH FOR CYCLOPS

Book 1: It is revealed that a man called Slim ( Scott's nickname in the earlier days) lives outside the coast of Morocco and that he don't remember who he is. He have dreams of ancient Egypt and battles. However, someone is trying to kill him.

Book 2: Slim meets a woman who seemly wants to help him escape the people who wants to kill him. Scott's son, Cable, and his "widow", Jean Grey-Summers, learn of the man, Slim, and goes out to find him before the others do. However the woman Slim is with isn't who she claims to be.

Book 3: There is some kind of deadly plauge in Farafirah, appearently caused by Apocalypse. Scott mentally struggles with Apocalypse who is trying to take controll of Scott. Anais ( the woman he travels with) is still trying to convince Scott to let Apocalypse take over. Jean and Nathan gone to Farafirah because of what Ozymandias told them in book # 2. Jean tries to contact Scott through their bond. He hears her, but doesn't reconize her. It only lasts a moment. Caliban, confused about himself (he calls himself Pestilence and Caliban) pulls Scott into the sewers. He smells both scents on Scott. Anais finds them, but so do Jean and Nathan. He manages to get away from them. ( thanks to Mickey for this info)

Book 4: Jean and Nathan finds Scott. Apocalypse regains control over Scott's body and he fights Jean. With her powers Jean simple separates Scott and Apocalypse's essences from each other and Scott is freed and all is back to normal. Nathan kills Apocalypse`s essence and Apocalypse is now totally dead. Why Jean didn't separate them sooner I don't know, how she got the power to do this considering how powerful Apocalypse is, I don't know either but our little miss perfect Jean is apparently extremely powerful. I still can't believe professional writers could ruin such a great plot-line by giving Scott's return such a boring outcome. It would have been so much more interesting if a part of Apocalypse's evil still remained in Scott and maybe that'll change his personality and powers. I can't believe they did like this! BUT complains aside.at least he lives again! So, outcome of Scott's "death" - nothing save he is now alive again [ this is so unfair. Jean never really died or anything but she got to keep her extreme powers...Ok, I`ll shut up now..But I still think it is unfair!]

CYCLOPS MINISERIES (2001)

Book 1: Scott has returned from the dead and goes on his own. He battles two old foes and wins.

Book 2: Scott finds out a man wants to kill him. To avoid killing this man Scott becomes trapped in a cave
