Control
- To My Mother -

You rode me up,
Then you rode me down.
You drove me totally crazy,
With the ways you fought for control.

You made me cower,
And you made me cringe.
You yelled when you didn't get it,
As if you thought you would always control me.

But now everything is different,
And that scares you so.
You fight to hold onto the past,
But now you have no control.
