Welcome to Betsie's Miniatures!

Thank you for visiting my website. I live in the beautiful Western Cape, South Africa. We don't have that many sources for miniature making in South Africa, so we have to rely heavily on our own imaginations, to get supplies and inspiration for our projects. I have always loved crafting, and made my first dollshouse as a child, using shoe box rooms and matchbox furniture. As an adult I was pleasantly surprised when I realised that this was actually a real hobby, and that there were many thousands of people all over the world involved in this addictive passtime. I work mostly in 1/12th scale, although recently I've been experimenting with 1/144th scale as well.
