Cancer Sun: Emotional, sensitive, dreamy. Deeply vulnerable, and when hurt, feels it down to the soul. Very loving and loyal to family, his beloved, and friends. Uniquely artistic and somewhat psychic. Sensual, in most unusually delicate, yet dynamic, way.

Aries rising: The penultimate Hero type. I swear, the book said "Errol Flynn, Captain Courageous, Robin Hood". A born leader, with unending courage and a will to climb the mountain, free the world from hunger, save the whales, and carry his Mum across a mud-puddle, if necessary. Despises small, petty people, who are after a dime and don't care about the glory of being good. Would absolutely love to run into a burning building and carry children out of it. Gets disappointed in people with no vision. Unfortunately, a tendency to need to idealize his love objects. If he can hook-up with someone he really admires for good and true values, someone his heart feels safe with, he'll be happy. But, being the hero type, he needs someone with integrity and strength -- someone with backbone, and a good bit of their own courage. Hates a sniveler, hates manipulators.

Gemini Moon: Requires lots of variety and excitement. Bores easily. Artistically incomparable (he's really fated for being an actor). An exciting lover who is very hard to tie down -- loves his freedom, and loves love. In his youth, tendency to have had a very, very good time. Ahem. I'll let you ponder that! Needs a life mate who is complex and multi-dimensional, with talents of their own.

Mercury in Cancer: Understands feelings. Really, it makes sense -- he can understand deeply the complexity of people's feelings, and analyses his own. Changes his mind a lot -- new information comes in, and alters his opinion. A talent (I swear, it's all over his chart) for brilliantly portraying all the subtleties of human emotion. Thinks with his heart, and feels with his head. Even when thinking things out logically, uses his intuition, which is great. Needs a lover who can engage his thoughts.

Venus in Leo: (and this explains the love of clothes! ) Like Oscar Wilde, he has the simplest of tastes: he is always satisfied with the best. Flamboyant, gregarious, big-hearted. The life of the party, the afternoon, or the bus-stop: wherever he is, he is the leader of the pack, the pied-piper, and the King of the Ball. Again, huge talent for performing. People are naturally drawn to him, and will follow him off a cliff -- that's the magnetism of his charm. In love, he has to know his beloved is absolutely loyal and devoted to him -- and for the right person, he will conquer the world, and lay the spoils of the battle at their feet (no, no kidding: he really would). Unfortunately, many disappointments in love, as many are drawn to the flame, but don't really see the whole of him, or they take advantage of him. Ends up feeling alone, and misunderstood sometimes. Fortunately, he will always be adored by many, which makes it easier for him. Generous to a fault. And his family and closest friends are a safe haven for him, so that's a help, which he much appreciates and counts on.

Mars in Taurus: Gets what he's after, period. He is the irresistible force that will go through mountains, if necessary, to meet his goals. A conqueror. Quite, um, successful in matters of love. Kind of at odds with his Cancer sun, at times. People he likes he can run to the ground and capture, effortlessly, but people he really loves -- well, he's let some get away. Loves the sport of love, but when it comes to the real thing, can be very afraid of getting hurt, and with good reason: almost no one can land a blow on him -- he's too vital and confident and merry. But those that have been immature, and taken advantage of his big heart -- very serious injury there. But still, when he's captured the one he really wants, the one who makes all that's gone before melt away like a bad dream, he's the happiest man alive (and good for you, Jon! You've given so much to so many, not just personally, but through your artistic works. Why not, eh?)

Jupiter in Sag: His life has always been about "Hail fellow, well met!" Loves travel and unusual people. An adaptor, home is where his backpack is. His best luck in life has come from his friends. Absolutely has to have his freedom.

Saturn in Capricorn: The ability to grind on no matter how hard the battle, and how much has to be given up in order to win. Again, pain can come from being lonely in the middle of the crowd. Most major success comes after the fireball of youth has cooled a bit -- can concentrate more on what he wants, and less on exploring the mysteries of life. Very wise as time goes by. Only regrets: not being able to open up to those he loved the most. With time, however, no worries: he takes the plunge and learns how to do this, with great results.

Neptune in Scorpio: Understands, on a visceral level, the great mysteries of life (which he has explored in great, and sometimes dangerous, detail. Can't keep his fingers off a puzzle for long). Loves love, and all that goes with it. Likes to see his dreams come true, and can make it happen, too.

Pity we can't get hold of Jonathon sometime soon - it would be interesting to see what he thinks of this. Maybe he could drop us a line on the message board but then again.............maybe not!!
