At the Pier Theatre Bournemouth

Ian Dickens Productions presents

Beside the Seaside

Taking place in a Bournemouth boarding house in the 1950’s, Beside The Seaside is the first play in Leslie Sands’ trilogy of Seaside capers at The Sea-view Guest House. The tyrannical Mrs Austin terrorises her lodgers with her bread and butter pudding, while newly-weds, Mr and Mrs Pepper realise that marriage is not just a honeymoon and Wilf and Ethel Pearson try to prevent their daughter, Sally, from running off with the local “theatrical” trickster. Chaos abounds in this stormy seaside resort!

The production will star Bread’s handsome poet, JONATHON MORRIS and BOBBY KNUTT (Albert Dingle from Emmerdale). They will be joined by two of Coronation Street’s younger stars, CHLOE NEWSOME who played Vicki Gillroy and SALLY ANN MATTHEWS who played Jenny Bradley. SABINA FRANKLYN, who starred in the sit-com Keep It In The Family and Full House, make up this starry television cast.
