"HI!", I'm Ernest C. Hampton, Jr., and I hope you find my "Pezazz PEZ Page" a little fun, a little weird and a little bit interesting. I find "PEZ" collecting to be very exhiliarating and just really wild and groovy baby, yeah! So... Good luck, and most of all remember... HAVE FUN WITH "PEZ"!

WHY I ENJOY COLLECTING PEZ DISPENSERS

Because it is FUN, FUN, FUN! Ever since my parents put PEZ dispensers in my Easter basket as a kid, I have loved them! I remember that I used to just eat the candy right from the package and didn't even put it in the dispenser. I can also remember pulling the head all the way out and watching it snap-back quickly, and also removing and changing the heads around on different bottoms. Of course I would "NEVER", "EVER", abuse a PEZ now! Unfortunately, I didn't start collecting them until the mid-80's, so I don't have a lot of the early ones. Every time I walk into a store I have to look to see if they have a PEZ section! I get "EXCITED" (Hey Now...), when I see new ones or ones that I don't have. There are many different cartoon, movie and TV characters, animals, trucks, whistles, and holiday dispensers to choose from. What can I say? I guess I'm just still a kid at heart. I always enjoy looking at, and adding more to, my PEZ collection. PEZ dispensers make me smile and feel good, and remind me of the fun times I "HAD" when I was just a "LAD".

WHERE TO PURCHASE "PEZ", AND SOME "PEZ" LINKS

Toys'R'Us, K-Mart, WAL-MART, WALGREENS, TARGET, ECKERT, RiteAid, CVS, and most candy stores and variety stores sell PEZ. Also, you can visit flea markets, yard sales, thrift stores and antique stores. I don't necessarily have to have any of the old or rare ones, but I cetainly enjoy seeing them and hearing how much they're worth. Sometimes my friends and family will send me a dispenser as a gift in the mail, and I always appreciate it!

THE HISTORY AND ENDURING LEGACY OF "PEZ" COLLECTING

PEZ was introduced as a peppermint candy in Vienna, Austria about 80 years ago. The PEZ name comes from "PfeffErminZ", the german word for peppermint. The dispensers are manufactured and imported from Slovenia, China, Hungary and Austria. PEZ candy and the colorful, fun variety of dispensers are enjoyed by all ages. Because of their low cost, uniqueness, continuous assortment of designs, and everlasting appeal, the dispensers have become very popular and fun collectibles. I am passionate about PEZ dispenser collecting. They are "HOT!, HOT!, HOT!", and have now become a part of our american pop culture and will definitely be enjoyed by future generations of children and adults, forever!!!!!!! LONG LIVE THE LOVEABLE, LEGENDARY PEZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
